A graduate and scholar of Chicago Booth, Amrit has guided hundreds of applicants through their MBA application process since he graduated in 2010. Passionate about understanding people and helping people achieve their ambitions, at Booth Amrit was part of the Admissions Committee and was a Career Coach.
A truly global citizen, Amrit has lived and worked in 8 countries. After graduating from Booth, Amrit spent time with McKinsey in Indonesia, as an entrepreneur running high-growth start-ups like Zalora (Rocket Internet) and as a CEO running Indonesia’s largest sports brand, League. Prior to his MBA, Amrit worked as a derivatives trader and developer in Banking in the UK.
His global and corporate/entrepreneurial experiences have given him valuable insight into the various career paths MBAs pursue. An avid mentor and coach, Amrit also coaches’ people on how to get to various high growth careers such as consulting, product management, and VC/PE and has spoken at several university career fairs.

What I love about my job: I love that I am on this life-changing journey with my clients of getting into their dream school – from brainstorming personal stories, analyzing application strategies to finally celebrating wins!). All the while I get to know more about myself as well, making it an introspective journey every single time.
Progya is a current student at University of Chicago, Booth School of Business, and did her undergraduate in Industrial Engineering from RV College of Engineering, Bangalore. Progya spent four years across multiple legs of the supply chain in GE Healthcare where she loved how she had the opportunity of working with a wide range of people and teams – from managing factory employees to presenting to C-Suite regularly. This ability to seamlessly lead teams/projects of various breadth, along with her sharp analytical skills and adaptability allowed her to have a global responsibility at a very young age. She has been a champion for Women’s Network and Environment, Health & Safety (EHS), two of GE’s most important initiatives.
Outside of work Progya loves to travel, finds cooking and baking therapeutic, and swears that dancing (having been trained for 8 years) is the best way to start and end a day.

Sumant is a current student at the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business. He has an undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering from RV College of Engineering, Bangalore. Prior to business school, he spent 4 years in Operations & Strategy at Cisco. Sumant led multiple projects in Cisco’s supply chain (Ranked as the #1 global supply-chain by Gartner) through expertise across inventory management, manufacturing network design, supply chain analytics and business transformation. He managed a $1.5B inventory portfolio across 17 manufacturing locations spread in 4 continents. Sumant also led Hackathons and Innovation/Design workshops in USA, Norway, and China.
Outside of the corporate world, Sumant is a lead guitarist in the world-renowned band Project Mishram. With >400,000 streams/views across platforms and a 15-day tour of the UK under his belt, Sumant enjoys using his creativity across multiple avenues. He has released a full-length album and 4 singles with Project Mishram to critical acclaim - featuring in "The Rolling Stones" magazine, multiple national and international TV programs, podcasts, and global interview features ranging from Germany to Japan.
