A graduate and scholar of Chicago Booth, Amrit has guided hundreds of applicants through their MBA application process since he graduated in 2010. Passionate about understanding people and helping people achieve their ambitions, at Booth Amrit was part of the Admissions Committee and was a Career Coach.
A truly global citizen, Amrit has lived and worked in 8 countries. After graduating from Booth, Amrit spent time with McKinsey in Indonesia, as an entrepreneur running high-growth start-ups like Zalora (Rocket Internet) and as a CEO running Indonesia’s largest sports brand, League. Prior to his MBA, Amrit worked as a derivatives trader and developer in Banking in the UK.
His global and corporate/entrepreneurial experiences have given him valuable insight into the various career paths MBAs pursue. An avid mentor and coach, Amrit also coaches’ people on how to get to various high growth careers such as consulting, product management, and VC/PE and has spoken at several university career fairs.
