During the essay process, unlike most other consultants, Amrit is happy to give all the time needed to perfect the essay drafts, version after version. Amrit also helped me a lot with the interview prep, especially for the HBS interview. Having spent so many years in the US, he was able to conduct mock interviews which are very close to the actual ones.

I had very tight timelines for R2 and could only do a handful of schools but his razor-sharp insight, quick TAT, and willingness to be flexible made for a great consultant. As someone skeptical about the value added possible, I have to say working with him made me extremely glad to be proven wrong.

Unlike a few consultants who discourage calls, Amrit prefers personal calls to discuss essays and it makes a HUGE difference as it brings crystal clear clarity in the candidate’s mind and he/her writes their essay with perfection.

As a result, I got an admit from UCLA with $40k scholarship in R1 itself. It was his mock interviews that made my actual interview a cakewalk. Amrit didn't only help me but one of my fellows admits too indirectly as I helped him prepare for an interview for UCLA with all the tools Amrit taught me.

Amrit’s frameworks were the game changer for me. They were tailored to fit every school, logic-driven, unique, and easy to follow through. If there was one part of my application that improved significantly in my second attempt, it was the school research bit. Amrit not only helped me ace it with the help of his simple framework but also made me realize its importance.

When I got the interview call, he had a prep call with me while he was in the hospital after going through surgery. When it was not possible to have a group discussion for my Wharton TBD, he secured me a slot in another group discussion through his network. This shows that he will do everything that is needed to get you to submit the best application and present your best self in front of the committee.

As we discussed approaches to essay prompts, we brainstormed through my life experiences, going into depth about my values, past decisions, learnings, and actions. More than once I asked him about what the school would want to hear, but every time, he brought the focus back to me, and what I authentically had to say. This led to me writing essays that were simple, clear, and impactful, reflecting who I really was.
